Recently, Non-Profit Organizations (NPOs) are becoming more concerned about their sustainability due to the current complex and dynamic environment which they operate in. Such conditions are inducing NPOs to adopt new and innovative approaches to pursue their mission and to maintain their sustainability & growth. Accordingly, this book aims to investigate quality models as one of these approaches. Although quality models, e.g. EFQM model, are claimed to be effectual frameworks for improving organizations' performance, yet these models are not appeared to be explored properly within the NPOs' context. Using an exploratory qualitative in-depth case study approach, the book examines the case of British NPOs. It provides thoughtful insights about how quality models [in particular the EFQM model] can be adopted by NPOs as a framework for improving performance. Additionally, the book justifies some modifications for the EFQM model which to address the nature of the nonprofit world. Finally, it introduces a model to integrate quality, performance evaluation and improvement together to act as continuous improvement cycle for NPOs.
