Mohammad Belal Hossain, M.Sc (UK), was born in Chouddagram, Comilla, Bangladesh. He has wide range of experiences in macrobenthic biodiversity assessment, conservation and management. Presently he is Assistant Professor and Chairman of the Department of Fisheries and Marine Science, Noakhali Science and Technology University, Bangladesh.
