Sinopsis

Michelle Cliff's work is explored as an example of a postcolonial woman writer who imaginatively recovers lost and buried fragments and historical information, using this re-visioned history as a kind scaffolding upon which to build knowledge and consciousness. This study examines the characterization of what has come to be termed "the margins" as a frontier from and through which resistant consciousness can develop.
