Sinopsis
Formgiving, el nuevo libro de BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group), lanza una mirada visionaria al horizonte del tiempo. Con Formgiving. Formgiving es también el volumen que acompaña a una exposición con el mismo título diseñada en el Centro de Arquitectura Danesa en Copenhague, desde donde viajará a otros lugares del mundo. Más de 65 proyectos documentan el trabajo de BIG en todo el mundo a través de los ojos de sus usuarios, de la mesa de dibujo a obras en curso y proyectos terminados. A lo largo de todo el libro se abordan obras que se proyectan cinco, diez o cincuenta años hacia el futuro, una prueba más del compromiso de BIG por trascender lo ordinario e inmediato y de contribuir al futuro con cada proyecto. La arquitectura de Bjarke Ingels es grande, audaz y barroca, y combina utilidad con una visión y una producción innovadoras. En sus propias palabras: ?Una arquitectura utópica y pragmática?. El chico de oro de la arquitectura danesa fundó su propio estudio, BIG, o Bjarke Ingels Group, en 2005, y es conocido por sus proyectos de desarrollo de vivienda urbana.
