(Lieutenantcommander), Sailing Instructor A - C. Naval officer until 1988; Until age 65 sailing instructor and base manager for the German High Seas Sports Federation Hansa. (DHH). From the age of 65, Independ-ent Skipper. Qualifications: Journeyman's papers, Sailor's papers, AKü., Officer's Licence, SHS + C-certificate SBS-Sea, Intructor licenses A-C. All radio qualifications, including CW, u. GMDSS. Operated in sea areas under Sail: German rivers, Baltic Sea, North Sea, Mediterranean Sea, Black Sea, Norwegian Sea, North Atlantic, Caribbean, Pacific. Total miles under sail: 260,000 NM.; During the naval period several trips on different cargo ships.
