The current study discusses different aspects of bibliometrics and gives insight into open access. The study involves ten year bibliometric analysis of the open access e-journal Library Philosophy and Practice an internationally established peer reviewed open access journal.

I,Vibha Gupta is a Junior Research Fellow(JRF)pursuing Ph.D.in Library and Information Science associated with the Department of Library and Information Science, University of Lucknow,Uttar Pradesh, India.My Research area is Research Support Services in Academic Libraries.Other research interests are Bibliometrics,ICT in Libraries,Library services.
