Object Recognition is the fundamental process of human vision system (HVS) that allows us to analyse and interpret the content based on the situation. The HVS is the motivation behind the work in this book which mainly contributes towards automatic image annotation. Computer vision is one such field which is recognized as an intellectual frontier whose boundaries of applicability are increasing day by day. Dr.D.Lalitha Bhaskari is presently working as a Professor with 19 years of experience in the department of CSSE, Andhra University College of Engineering(A)Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, INDIA.Dr.D.N.D.Harini is presently working as Assistant professor in the Department of IT, Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering(A).
