The study assessed the functionality status of the academic library using Standard for Philippine Academic Libraries model which evaluates, measures, and assess the administration, library staff, collection, facilities and equipment, services and utilization, and library budget. Also, it assessed the library status of mission, goals, and objectives; administration; human resources; collection development; services and utilization; physical facilities; information technology facilities and services; financial resources; and linkages and networking; the frequency of utilization of library resources, and problems encountered by the students and faculty in utilizing the resources.

Biografía del autor
Lorenel Dungog-Gako, MLIS obtained her AB-Library and Information Science at University of San Carlos and finished her Master in Library and Information Science from the Cebu Normal University both in Cebu City, Philippines. She has written and published article on librarianship and been in the field for more than 10 years.
