Sinopsis

The findings from the investigation suggested that significant difference in the mandibular morphology was found between the Hypodivergent and Hyperdivergent groups. Subjects with hypodivergent pattern showed inclination of condylar head to be more forwardly placed, flat inferior mandibular border, thick symphysis with a more forward inclination and more obtuse interincisal and intermolar angles. Hyperdivergent subjects exhibited backwardly placed condyle, notched inferior mandibular border, symphysis with a backward inclination and more acute interincisal and intermolar angles.

I am Dr. Roopa Siddegowda, working as a Full –time Research Scholar in Vokkaligara Sangha Dental College and Hospital, Bangalore. I am a life member in Indian Orthodontic Society and Indian Dental Association, Bangalore Branch. I am involved in my Research work and have a couple of publications in various indexed journals.
