Sinopsis

This book describes about effect of organic manures and fertilizers on dynamics of potassium in the growth and yield of rice including the succeeding crop like potato and sesame. Assimilation of potassium at different parts at different stages of crop growth was also monitored to make a relationship between the release patterns of different forms of potassium in soil and its uptake by different portions of plant parts. The study was made on the basis of different treatment has been given to plots of potato-sesame-rice cropping system with a view that soil fertility investigation and fertilizer recommendation made on this basis have better scientific approach than that of administrative unit i.e. district.
