Sinopsis

This book presents the detail & differents types of power system stability theory with some practical examples & detailsapplication of FACTS devices in networks for transient stability improvement.In the first-three chaters,different types of power system stability with some practical examples has been discussed.In four chapters,different types of faults that normally occured in power system network has been discussed.In chapter five-seven, Different types of FACTS devices with advantages,disadvantages,impacts & how to apply in networks has been elaboratly discussed.In eight-ten chapters,power system stability has been improved& controlled by desigining an external PSC controller with FACTS devices.i.e A power system controller(PSC) has been designed & this is tuned by Triple Integral Differential(TID) methods & apply this controller in different types of power system networks with different types of FACTS devices has been breifly shown.For practical networks, MATLAB/simulink software has been used for simulation purpose.

Biografía del autor

Habibur & Harun passed their B.Sc in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology(RUET), BD at 2012.Dr.MRI Sheikh is the professor of EEE department in RUET. They published 3 text books & more then 11 papers in various reputed journals.Their research interest is power system stability & Renewable energy.
