Chapter one (1) is a presentation of the background to the study. Here, the statement of the problem, rationale of the study, research aims and objectives have been explained. Chapter two (2) examines the available literature on breast cancer and related issues. Chapter three (3) is where the background to the study district is presented. There is a detailed description and analysis of context-specific information relating to the UER where the KND is located. Chapter four (4) presents a discussion of the research methodology adopted to gather empirical data for this study. The researcher's assumption as an interpretivist and constructionist is explained. Based on this, the necessary research design and strategy developed to select the study district, research participants and the methods used to gather empirical data have been explained. Chapter five (5) discusses the results of the empirical study as obtained from the focus group discussions (FGDs) and the in-depth interviews with the research participants. Chapter six (6) is the discussion and analysis of the findings of the empirical study.
