The advancement of Information and Communication Technologies in the past two decades has created a significant change in the delivery of education services by educational institutions. The learners are presented with what is known as e-learning system, where education is delivered online on a mass scale. The goal was to free individual learners from the constraints of traditional in-campus educational systems where one had to physically attend lectures at a stipulated time. Dr. Biswanath Dutta: Asst. Prof. at DRTC, Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Bangalore, India and a Courtesy Prof. at DISI, University of Trento, Italy. His current research interests are ontology, linguistic phenomena in KO, KR, SDL.Prof. ARD Prasad: Prof. and Head of DRTC, ISI, India. His recent areas of interests are ontology, NLP, SDL.
