Towards the goal of improving the efficiency of sparse matrices operation the major issue is of selection of the most appropriate technique that suits the matrix data best. A wrong choice can lead to decreasing of efficiency in spite of all the resources we have. So providing with more number of techniques is of no use if there is no sufficient help provided for the selection of a technique. For this purpose all the implemented techniques were provided with a variety of matrices and the results were observed. On the basis of studying the matrix data organization and the behavior of each of these techniques on it, software “Technique Detection Software for Sparse Matrices” is implemented. It will help the user to suggest the best suitable technique for a particular matrix after analyzing the matrix data. It will suggest the best technique in case of processing efficiency and storage size.
