Sinopsis
In this book an attempt to examine the working of co-operative Societies from different dimensions. Keeping in view of the Globalization and Liberalization context, the present study adopted a micro analysis approach for gaining deeper insights into the role of cooperative sector in rural development. This book explains the use of cooperative credit, borrowing and repayment behaviour and the perceptions of the sample respondents of the PACSs. This book also identifies the impact of co-operative movement on rural development and the transformation of the living standards of the members of the Co-operative Societies under the area chosen for the study.

Biografía del autor
Dr. I. S. Kishore Mathew Arnold is an Academic Consultant in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration, Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati. He did his M.A. and Ph.D., from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati. He presented several research papers in the National and International Conferences/ Seminars.
