The interactive desirability function approach facilitates the preference articulation process of a decision maker. It allows a decision maker to adjust any of the shape, bound, and target of a desirability function in the preference articulation process. Consequently, it provides various channels through which the decision maker can articulate his/her preference information. This approach would be highly effective in generating a compromise solution that is faithful to the decision maker’s preference structure.

Biografía del autor
In-Jun Jeong is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration at Deagu University, Republic of Korea. He earned his BSc, MSc, and PhD in Industrial and Management Engineering from Pohang University of Science and Technology, Republic of Korea.
