TVET institutions have to be well informed about the local market demand to solve the problem of the mismatch between training and labor market. The concern of this book is to examine availability of career guidance and labor market information service, using labor market information in planning and reforming TVET system, method of obtaining up to date and adequate labor market information, relationship between the TVET institutions and stakeholders in promoting employment labor market information and factor affecting the implementation of career guidance and labor market information service in the TVET institutions. There for the book has valuable contribution for those who need more information on the link between TVET institution and the world of work especially for policy makers, planners, employers and the research community.
Biografía del autor
Kindu Oumer Ali has got his BSC Degree in Automotive Technology from Adama University (Ethiopia) in 2001, and MA Degree in Vocational education Management from Addis Ababa University in 2007. Currently he is working as a Lecturer & TeCAT vice Dean of General wingate TVET college.
