This book presents theoretical and practical contributions to the modelling of business processes. Business Process Modelling is a key success issue for today's companies and organizations. It was realized that significant improvements may result as a consequence of careful analysis and redesign of existing business processes. This does not only hold for administrative but also for manufacturing processes. Analyzing existing processes requires modelling methods as well as modelling tools. Process improvement calls for methodologies to determine the value a certain process has for a company.
