Theorists and experimentalists expect numerous future applications in the field of nanosystems (eg, devices with semiconductor nanostructures or quantum-dot arrays for parallel computing). This book starts with an introduction to SU(n) algebra as an appropriate language for dealing with networks. After a discussion of ensemble dynamics, individual small networks are treated, with emphasis on stochastic and information retrieval.
