Sinopsis
Environmental processes are complex, yet this text provides an explanation of their behaviour through dynamic modelling and simulation. As well as describing the basic theories of mass and energy balances, there is backgound information on various bioprocesses from waste-water treatment to land and water pollution modelling. An accompanying DOS- compatible disk provides 60 simulation examples using the ISIM digital simulation language. This text and disk is intended for: bioengineers; process engineers; environmental chemists; chemical engineers; water chemists; and environmental agencies.
