Supply chain networks have become the center of attention over the past few years due to their substantial role in corporation's adaptability and consequently gaining competitive edge against competitors. The fastest changes are taking place in the IT components of the supply chains and all communication channels are to be reformed to catch up with the changes and not lose the edge which could lead to loss of profitability that threatens the existence of the corporations. E-Logistics and E-commerce have emerged to satisfy the needs of the players by adjust the existing supply chain networks based on the newly emerged needs of the consumers. CR has a completely new definition now and resistance to changes of the new digital evolution could cost corporations more than they can afford. Awareness and implementation of the information sharing is inevitable but one has to know what are the risks involved and make the changes accordingly to gain the competitive edge while securing the corporation"s foundation and making it robust.
