This method can be applied in wide array of areas including the use in 3D Volumetric Displays. Real world scenes can be captured in three dimensions into a 3D Volumetric image matrix which has R, G and B voxel values in full 3 dimensions as opposed to normal images that have pixels only on a 2D plane.
