Zubair Hasan, M.A (Economics); M.Com,PhD from Indian Universities of Agra and Meerut. He won the prestigious Islamic Development Bank Prize (2009) in Islamic Economics and the OIC Comsec Award (2014) for his outstanding contributions to the subject. In 2015, The Global University of Islamic Finance, Malaysia awarded him the Professor Emeritus title
