Luzius Wildhaber - who celebrated his 70th birthday on January 18th, 2007 - was president of the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg. The editors of this collection, in appreciation for Wildhaber's broad and various work in the fields of constitutional and international law, have taken this opportunity to honor Wildhaber with this multilingual festschrift. The Liber amicorum unites 90 contributions in English, German, and French, written by friends, colleagues, and scholars who have been personally affiliated with Wildhaber.
