The book brings to the forefront outstanding issues related to the assessment of the macroeconomic impact of R&D policies and its modelling. It speaks to the rising importance of R&D and innovation policy, and the proliferation of macroeconomic models featuring endogenous technological change.

Ufuk Akcigit is Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Chicago and a faculty research fellow at the NBER and CEPR.

Cristiana Benedetti Fasil is Economic Analyst at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission.

Giammario Impullitti is Associate Professor at the University of Nottingham.

Omar Licandro is Professor at the University of Nottingham. 

Miguel Sanchez-Martinez is Economic Analyst at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission.
