The language used within design-related disciplines can often be mystifying and confusing; The Visual Dictionary Design Box Set will provide the reader with an enhanced understanding of over 1000 professional design terms, supplemented by historical and contemporary illustrations throughout. The box set comes neatly presented in an arlin-covered slipcase and contains four key design-related Visual Dictionaries Pre-Press and Production, Typography, Graphic Design and Illustration. Over 250 professional terms are defined and contextualized within each title; from linocut to lithography, pilcrow to kerning and crop to creep, the Visual Dictionary Design Box Set will prove an invaluable and enjoyable resource to design enthusiasts.
