Hazel Lindey and Rosee Garfield are pen names for Dr. Cicely T. Wilson and DiAnne L. Malone, respectively. They consider themselves madness and mayhem personified. Rosee is the madness; Hazel, the mayhem. Together they create the magic and melees on the pages of The Church Chronicles of Iris and Locke. Both women are professors. Dr. Wilson is a communications professor and Mrs. Malone is a professor of English and African American Studies. They are both married and reside in Memphis, TN. The women have very supportive husbands and families, and since the publication of their first trilogy, Hazel's family has grown. She has a very particular and beautiful son. Rosee's oldest son will be entering college in Fall 2018; her middle son will enter high school, and her youngest daughter continues to shake the ground of grade school. When the rigors of academe and responsibilities of family become overwhelming, Hazel and Rosee are happy to return to the fictional town of Sweet Fields to write their worries away. They are thankful for the growing community of Sweet Fielders their readership has become.
