This book is designed to share my experiences with the Amazon Video Direct Platform, and hopefully help you avoid some of the hurdles I had to overcome. I spent many hours over the course of several months figuring out how to structure the actual video formatting to be accepted, creating a proper closed caption file, and why my files were being rejected during Amazon’s content review process. I don’t claim to be an expert on all topics surrounding getting your program onto AVD. Think of me as more of a guide, a "Sherpa” who has climbed the mountain at least once, and can share with you the pitfalls I have already encountered and how I worked around them.
