Sinopsis

Pete is almost eighty, and when his wife is suddenly killed in a tragic accident he thinks that’s it for him—he’ll be alone for the rest of his life. Out of kindness and necessity he takes in Mary, a neighbor who’s become injured and can’t manage the stairs in her house for a couple of weeks. He’s noticed her walking on the beach, talking to herself and gesturing wildly, and thinks she may be rather batty so he’s none too enthusiastic about having her for a temporary roommate. But as he gets to know her better he realizes how deceptive appearances can be…and how wrong he was to think love was done with him.

Acerca del autor

Su Tipple is a native of the Pacific Northwest and a romantic at heart. Story-telling is one of her favorite ways of passing time when she's not busy with her "real" job; cleaning house is decidedly not. Nope, not a single one of her closet shelves would pass the white-glove test. But life is too short to worry about a little dust...isn't it?
