Charlie Reading:- Charlie Reading is a Chartered Financial Planner, entrepreneur, speaker and author that has a passion for amazing retirement planning. Amongst his 4 businesses he runs the successful Chartered Finan- cial planning practice Efficient Portfolio that specialises in investment and retirement planning and is based in both Rutland and London. Having been in the Financial Services industry since 1999, his qualifications place him in the top 10% of all financial advisers in the UK, with particular focus on investment management, wealth protection and retirement strategies. He loves spending time with his wife and two daughters, playing golf and squash, cycling, travelling and is passionate about scuba diving, safari and good wine. Charlotte Colton: Charlotte Colton is the Practice and Marketing Manager for Efficient Portfolio. After graduating from Kings College London, with a degree in English Language and Literature, Charlotte has worked as an Assistant Banqueting Manager and also undertook a Graduate Scheme in Business Management, which honed her skills in marketing, management and delivering exceptional service to clients. After this, she developed her financial knowledge within the Savings Department of Barclays Bank. Originally from Rutland, Charlotte has recently moved back to the area after studying and working in both London and Liverpool. Charlotte manages all aspects of the marketing and events for Efficient Portfolio; implementing marketing strategies, organising and running events and ensuring that the team continue to provide a high level of customer service for our clients. She has co-authored this book with Charlie to offer a unique stance on personal finance, particularly for career-driven women who are new to financial planning and looking for a fresh approach. Away from work, Charlotte enjoys travelling and experiencing new cultures, experimenting in the kitchen, yoga, running and the theatre. She spends the majority of her time at home looking after (chasing after!) her two bulldogs, Napoleon and Hector. She is also a keen writer, both professionally and in her spare time.
