What begins as a desperate escape from the Delaware Safe Zone into the dead towns beyond it slowly becomes something more when he finds a stray dog he names Girl. Along the way, Ben finds other survivors still trying to build lives among the ruins. And discovers that even after the end of the world, people still need each other.

Slimbies is a bleak, emotional post-apocalyptic horror novel about survival, found family, and the quiet ways we save each other when everything else feels lost.
