In every corner of the world where GO-TKM works I hear the same question asked in different languages and accents: When machines can answer almost anything, what remains irreplaceably human? Deeper, Wider, Wiser is the most serious answer I have encountered to that question. It is not another book about artificial intelligence. It is a book about human becoming in the age of artificial intelligence—and that difference is everything.
What Bennet, Turner, and Gong have achieved deserves precise naming. First, they reframe uncertainty—the fog surrounding every genuinely important decision—as a gift rather than a deficit. Second, they articulate the uncomfortable truth our moment most needs to hear: AI’s greatest strengths, applied without developed human wisdom to govern them, systematically erode the very human capacities on which genuine partnership with AI depends. Third, and most consequentially, they identify seven Knowledge Capacities, not as a list of competencies to be trained, but as a coherent developmental arc to be cultivated. Each chapter closes not with abstraction but with practices, tools, and protocols. This is a book that takes development seriously.
Finally, it deserves saying: this book was written through symbiotic intelligence, in genuine partnership with AI collaborators. The result is a work that walks its talk on every page.
