Sinopsis

The Anchor Holds is a collection of inspiring poems from real-life events that happened to either myself or someone close to me. It covers the following themes: sexual abuse and trauma, children's poems, motherhood poems, inspirational/spiritual poems, miscellaneous, and much more.

This book can help you to heal and overcome areas of your life that may need to be addressed to move forward in living a life of trauma, grief, chaos, tragedy, to pure joy and happiness.

The book's mantra is "Defined By Tragedy, Grief and Happiness."

This book was a collection of poems I started writing in high school about real-life events and situations I had faced. It was easier for me to write than to cope with it and just deal with the situation. It allowed me to see the picture for more than what it was, and sometimes it allowed me to control my feelings and think before reacting. These poems truly inspired me and helped me to become the woman I am today, and my hope is that they will help someone else along the way as well.
