HUG ME FULL COLOR: 2nd edition with lotsa new drawings! - Tapa dura

Sinopsis

Patti Stren has revisited HUG ME, one of her favorite stories, to create HUG ME FULL COLOR, drawing even more funny, idiosyncratic tidbits to engage readers with the whimsical tale of the frustrated porcupine, Elliot, in his determined quest to ask, beg and bamboozle his way into a hug. Everyone thinks it’s an impossible goal! But he knows what he needs and deserves - that wonderful sense of belonging and peace anyone can get from a great, meaningful hug. Of course, after some shenanigans, there’s a happy ending. Now charmingly translated and narrated in Ukrainian and in French, HUG ME FULL COLOR also includes this timeless story in bilingual Ukrainian-English and English-French versions to reach even more children and families with its message of hope and perseverance.

HUG ME MORE Story Book and Coloring Book has been adapted by Patti with simple bold illustrations for children of all ages to color and personalize. Patti is thrilled that HUG ME MORE Story Book and Coloring Book will be coming out in braille with raised line tactile art for sight-impaired children. This edition, also for sighted readers, has the text in black print below the braille, with Patti’s graphic line visible under the corresponding raised line of the drawing so sight-impaired children and adults and those with sight can share the experience of HUG ME MORE Story Book and Coloring Book. Patti has gleefully collaborated with the publisher, Tactile Vision Graphics, in Windsor, New Brunswick, Canada. And for even more fun, the audio of HUG ME MORE, by renowned actress Blythe Danner can be accessed via the same link.
