Thoughts often influence our lives and the lives of others when shared. This was the purpose behind 'Just Thinking,' the new book from author C. J. Dakota. In his debut, he shares a collection of essays that ponder everyday topics viewed against the profound truths found in the Bible. From subjects that cover sound reasoning and logic, labeling people, whether all sin is the same, progressive morality and the belief in self, C.J. approaches each topic from the viewpoint of a man who was once on the other side of the truth. With the belief that a single word can be life-altering, C. J. Dakota put pen to paper in hopes of illuminating the truth as well as exposing the schemes of Satan to impact the lives of others, much as his life had been impacted by the Word of God.

C.J. Dakota's life has been a journey from atheism to a God-fearing believer of Christ. He had his pre-salvation worldview ripped apart by God. He learned so much over the years, but it was only a small fraction in the scheme of things. That knowledge has kept him humble and willing to learn. His hope is that this book causes believers to understand that all can be easily deceived, and they should always be on guard against that weakness. There is only one truth and that is Christ. C.J. has been very blessed because he hasn't had too many difficulties in his life. And the few he had, he realized that overcoming trials brings strength and that was a blessing as well. C.J. Dakota's prayer is that this book is the first of many, after the numerous eye-opening episodes in his life.
