Sinopsis

“I hate exaggerated promises and hype, but if you take this 40-week [discipleship] journey seriously, I’m confident it will help transition you into a lifestyle of intimacy with Jesus that will act as a spiritual foundation for the rest of your life.” – Jeff Mootz

Going Deeper is an insanely practical step-by-step discipleship workbook that will lead you into the intimate and enjoyable friendship with Jesus that you were always meant to have. Author and pastor Jeff Mootz leverages 17 years of experience in full-time ministry and discipleship to offer Christian readers a wealth of prayer and meditation guidance and biblical understanding that will help you cultivate a deeper relationship with God.

By the end of the 40 weeks, you will have: A higher vision for experiencing Jesus, personal testimonies of intimacy with God, increased spiritual hunger, depth and rhythm in core prayer expressions, biblical clarity on how to receive freedom from sins, lies, and negative emotional patterns, clear pathways and empowerment to pursue giftings and calling, the ability to confidently disciple others and a life-giving vision and structure to use with accountability groups.

In this revolutionary 40-Week discipleship journal, you will learn:

• Proven methods for developing strong rhythm and depth in devotional prayer - through these 40 weeks, you will design and follow a personalized weekly prayer schedule with written down daily prayer times, a basic focus for each day (Bible study or daily meditation), and short-term direction in Bible study
• Four lifestyle pursuits structured around finding a rhythm in foundational prayer expressions, hearing the Holy Spirit for direction, pursuing freedom and your calling, with the long-term goal of making these pursuits the foundation of your spiritual lifestyle with prayer partners, as you disciple others
• 10 structural components that will guide your individualized spiritual awakening and take your understanding of Gods’ word to the next level, so you can use the curriculum in Bible study groups, church prayer meetings, and family discipleship
• Full-sized 8.5x11” Christian guided journal provides ample room for daily journaling and additional personal notes, but still small enough to take with you anywhere in your book bag, briefcase, or fits perfectly in your nightstand drawer for nightly prayer and Christian meditation!

Whether you’re brand new to prayer or you are already a veteran prayer warrior, with a deep connection to Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, every part of the Going Deeper curriculum is personalized to fit where you're at in your walk with Jesus and what you want to focus on in your spiritual growth journey.
