Fortune, fame, and rock ‘n’ roll
Is it still a swindle if there’s no victim?

The legendary rock star is here to receive his lifetime achievement award after decades of hard work, paid dues, and outstanding contributions to rock ‘n’ roll. But as he steps into the spotlight, four strangers muscle their way on stage, determined to steal the glory.

Rickey T is being recognized—finally—for his lifetime achievement as a songwriter, a singer, and a musician. He should be the only one on stage to receive the award but four other men take over and insist on sharing the glory. Who are they and how did they get there?

From Rickey’s earliest days as a singer-songwriter, people could see that his talent could sustain a career at the highest level. As the years go by, he releases album after album—everybody knows his name and the words to his songs. He is a legend … but he hides a secret that almost crushes him every time the lights go on. He dreads every performance.

It’s a secret known only in a small circle—his manager, his fan club president, his closest friends. They come up with a solution, and although it keeps Rickey T on stage for show after show, it endangers his future. Soon, there is a need for a solution to the solution …
