Laura Weston-Elchert is the multimedia editor for The News-Sentinel in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She is a native of Marion, Ohio, and a graduate of Westfield (Indiana) High School. She holds a bachelor’s degree in American history from Ball State University and studied historic preservation and urban planning in graduate school there. She served three years on the board of the Indiana Lincoln Highway Association, including serving as president in the highway’s centennial year in 2013.Keith Elchert is copy editor of the editorial pages for The Journal Gazette in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He is a native of Tiffin, Ohio, and a graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School. He has a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Dayton and a master’s degree in journalism from Ball State University.Brian Tombaugh currently provides technical support for Apple mobile phones and computer tablets, as well as doing freelance editorial photography around Fort Wayne, Indiana. He spent 25 years as a professional newspaper photographer. He was a staff photographer at The (Fort Wayne) News-Sentinel from 1990 to 2004 before serving as the Director of Photography from 2004 to 2010. He had previously worked at The Journal in Lorain, Ohio, from 1984 to 1990. In 1987, he was an honorable mention for Ohio News Photographer of the Year. Brian has taught classes in beginning photography, beginning digital photography and Adobe Photoshop Elements.
