Sinopsis

This Intern Handbook is a manual for training Spiritual Director interns. It provides instruction and meeting agendas for each month of the retreat, from September through May along with ethical guidelines and instructions for group supervision. It also includes reference book monthly homework. Using the agendas for the monthly meetings, interns and their trainer(s) have an orderly way to proceed through the material, and learn more about the Spiritual Exercises as well as how to hone spiritual direction skills. Author Ellen Tomaszewski has been a spiritual director with the Spiritual Exercise in Everyday Life in the Tri-Cities WA since 1988. She is trained in Supervision with a certificate from Mercy Center, Burlingame, CA. and continues to train new directors through the SEEL program. She is author of several books including Taking the Exercises to the World, Group Supervision Method and Practice, Discerning God’s Call (to spiritual direction) and many more.
