Raul Ries … to those who knew him in the ‘60’s and early ‘70’s, his name stood for fear … for fighting … for fury. To his high school friends, he was a violent, dangerous combatant. To his family, he was a time bomb, ready to explode at any moment and to those who battled beside him in Vietnam, he was an angry, bitter killer. One Sunday evening, Raul’s life was transformed, taking him from a life filled with fury, to a life of hope and peace, leading him to freedom from the hate and anger. Is it possible for someone to be changed from the darkness to light overnight?
