Sporting Life is a collection of pages from Walter Iooss's journal. Part travelogue and part memoir, this artistic diary weaves photos, newspaper clippings, and handwritten thoughts into visually arresting collages to chronicle his life and behind-the-scenes work.
In his 40-year career, Iooss has covered major sporting events and taken countless portraits of top personalities. For the past 20 years he's photographed top models for the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, an assignment he calls "probably the best single assignment for an American photographer."
