The Los Angeles-based firm, Bobrow/Thomas and Associates, has specialized in the design and master planning of socially significant, prototypical projects. The firm emphasizes intensive user and community interaction, contextual design, and rigorous project management to achieve clients' goals, budgets, and schedules. This monograph covers the body of work produced by BTA from 1972 to the present. The projects presented here are related to a common set of concepts and beliefs, which inform the design of each.
