Sinopsis

This guide provides students at university and other tertiary institutions with the language they need to write for scholarly, or academic, purposes. It aims to provide those with limited experience in academic writing with a starting point to say what they want to say using language that academic writers use.

How to write what you want to say … at university is a guide for those who know what they want to say but can’t find the words. It provides a unique tool for improving writing. It suits inexperienced writers enrolled in undergraduate courses at university, including those for whom English is a second language. It is especially helpful to mature-aged students returning to study.
