Sinopsis

Discover a compassionate space where faith, psychology and trauma-informed practice meet.

Whether used individually or in groups, this practical resource helps you explore the deep connections between wellbeing and our natural survival responses.

Drawing on the wisdom within the Bible — particularly the rich vision of shalom — and blending it with psychological and counselling insights, Sarah Armitage has created a tool that makes complex trauma-informed theories accessible and practical.

At the heart of the book are the PEACE and PRAY models, designed to nurture self-understanding and flourishing.

Perfect for professional counsellors, Christian pastoral carers and anyone with a heart for wellbeing, The Wellbeing Zone by Sarah Armitage offers not just theory, but pathways for compassionate practice.

Whether you are supporting others or seeking your own growth, this book is an invitation to step into a zone where healing, hope and wholeness can be discovered.

"With case studies and deep dives into the different areas of the Wellbeing Zone, this book provides rich learning for lay and professional alike." Kathy Spooner, CEO of the Association of Christians in Counselling and Linked Professions (ACC)
