During lockdown Denis Dunstone sought freedom from confinement by venturing to nearby churchyards with pen, sketch book and camping stool. This was then expanded to cover medieval churches in other English counties and the result, A Church Near You, was published in 2023 and proved to be a bestseller.

Acerca del autor

Denis Dunstone graduated in Law at Cambridge, having served as an officer in the Royal Naval Reserve. His career culminated as a senior manager in BP. After writing ten other books mainly on railway history and one on the etymology of European words, this is the author's first engagement with churches.
