The Gender Revolution: Emancipating women and empowering the church - Tapa blanda

Sinopsis

JOEL EDWARDS – STRATEGIC ADVISER, CHRISTIAN SOLIDARITY WORLDWIDE (CSW)

“The Gender Revolution is not simply an argument affirming women in ministry; it’s an invitation to join an experienced Bible teacher in his own mind-changing journey of discovery.”

REV JOHN GLASS – GENERAL SUPERINTENDENT ELIM PENTECOSTAL CHURCHES UK

“If the 21st Century Church is to fulfil its mandate, then the whole Church, men and

women alike, must embrace the whole task wholeheartedly. This timely book encourages us to do just that.”

JOHN PARTINGTON – NATIONAL LEADER ASSEMBLIES OF GOD G.B.

“For too long the Church has been neglectful in its understanding of the importance and significance of seeing women recognised and then fully released into all aspects of Christian ministry, including ‘leadership’ … this biblical yet practical book is a ‘must read’ for all and I thoroughly recommend it.”

In The Gender Revolution, author Alan L. Hewitt takes readers on an important journey through the Bible to examine what it really says about the role of women in the Church. Woven throughout the text is the author’s own journey of revelation – moving from a position of being against women in ministry/positions of leadership, to becoming a passionate advocate in favour of them. This well-researched book will add to the groundswell of what God is already doing across the Church streams.
