Sinopsis
Britain has been blessed with many fine poets; Simon Drew isn't one of them. It is tempting to call this a book of doggerel, but maybe that's aiming a little high. This book makes a Co-Op receipt seem intellectual. However, there are many collectors of Drew's work (some of them locked up) who will welcome a collection of all the best verses. This book will be left lying around the best homes with the aim of impressing odd people and passing hyenas.

Acerca del autor
Simon Drew lives in Dartmouth, England, with his wife, Caroline, and his dog, Rabbit. He works mainly in pen and ink, making fiendishly inventive drawings of everyday objects, birds and animals embellished with devious rhymes and word play. His work is widely acclaimed and exhibited, and is already the subject of numerous books. Drew's designs are also incorporated into a wide variety of stationery and accessories ranging from cards, mugs, t-shirts and aprons. - See more at: http://www.accdistribution.com/us/store/pv/9781851497768/the-wisdom-of-wine/simon-drew?layout=popup#sthash.Bfqp9DQW.dpuf

He combines these two talents with an inventive and quirky sense of humour in his range of books and invites us to look at the world through the magic of Drewsian spectacles. A new perspective unfolds on the world: the familiar becomes unfamiliar, the known becomes unknown, the serious becomes humorous, reality becomes nonsense. It is a topsy-turvy world of visual and verbal puns that never fail to delight. Simon Drew shakes us out of complacency in the most enjoyable of ways. For those who are not already addicted there is only one thing to suggest read them all! 150 colour illustrations Britain has been blessed with many fine poets; Simon Drew isn't one of them.
