Reseña del editor

This book and cd rom identifies a clear progression of skills development from Lower Level 1 to Lower Level 5 (9 progressive stages). Each stage also identifies the key and essential skills to be acquired at each level. The skills are identified for art, design and technology, geography, history, music, physical education and science. The key skills, drawn from the 2000 National Curriculum document, is split into the academic skills of communication, application of number and information technology and the three personal development skills areas of working together, improving own learning and problem solving. This book and CD ROM contain several examples of how to make use of these skills to create a curriculum that matters by including mid-term plans including examples within each age group, from Year 1 to Year 6.
