Jonathan Runge is the author of 17 travel books, including the Rum & Reggae series and Hot on Hawaii: The Definitive Guide to the Aloha State, and the coauthor of Ski Party!: The Skier's Guide to the Good Life. He has written for Boston, Men's Journal, National Geographic Traveler, Out, Outside, and Skiing. He lives in Boston. Adam Carter is the coauthor of Rum & Reggae’s Costa Rica. He is a former reporter for The Hatchet, a Washington, DC, newspaper. His articles have also appeared in the San Francisco Chronicle and WorldView magazine. He lives in Chicago.
