Arizona eerily foreshadows the consequences of a nativist movement steeped in racial and religious bigotry. It reveals the sinister message enveloped in the shrill, wistful and dangerous political discourse that praises an idealized golden age when the rule of white men was supreme and unquestioned--before globalization, civil rights, women's rights, gay rights, multiculturalism, and pluralism.This ideology will catapult the action into an unstoppable train wreck causing irreparable damage to the physical and moral fiber of a society unhinged by fear.
